Trip to the Beach

In late June we made the pilgrimage to Texas to say our farewells to the wonderful people in Nick's family. It was a great trip. We just spent time visiting with family, relaxing, and drowning ourselves in Cherry Limeades!!! Oh, how I miss those! But I must tell the Texas folks, there is something here called a sweet lime soda. It is an ok subsitute, but it just isn't the same as pulling into Mr. Burger and ordering a Cherry Lime, easy on the ice!!!
Upon arriving back in PA, our lives took on a new level of stress. We had about 4 days until we left the country and we had to pack all of our favorite belongings and organize the mess that was being left at my parent's house. After many late nights and only minimal tears and tiffs, the task was finished! By early afternoon on July 10th, we were packed in the car and headed to NYC and JFK Airport for a 6 hour plane ride to London! Looking ar our luggage cart as we pushed it from the car to the airport, we thought, man, we have to much stuff! There is no way we need all of this stuff! But I think we have come to terms with the amount we brought. So far there isn't anything with us that we haven't used!
After prayer with my mom and dad, and tearful embraces, we walked through security and into the next chapter of our lives.
