Trip to the Beach

The bad, bad couple refuses to keep up with their blog. But, we've kept a few photos. Welcome to Rajasthan, the western most state in India. Known for it's deserts, this area was home to the Mughal kings for a long time. While here, we visited the Jaipur Palace. But pictured below was our hotel. Yes, we tried out the pool.

We were suprised by a special cake for our 1st anniversery.

"It was in 1727, Swai Jai Singh with his architect Vidyadhar Bhattacharya founded the Jaipur city. The city was built adhering to the principles of Shilpa Shastra and thus become the first planned city of India. The city follows grid system with wide straight roads, streets and lanes. One can find uniform rows of shops on either side of main roads. As a security measure from external aggression, the city was en-circled with a strong wall with seven gates."

"Jaipur is still one of the beautiful cities in India with most of its forts and palaces perfectly in shape. Forts and palaces in and around Jaipur are what attract tourists to the Pink City. Jaipur has a number of fine hotels that provide best hospitality service to guests touring Jaipur. Jaipur Hub offers complete information on Jaipur and online booking for hotels in Jaipur. Discover the architectural wonders of Jaipur with Jaipur Hub." ( http://www.jaipurhub.com/history.html)

Online Bus Ticket Booking. Jaipur is the first planned city of india, located in the semi-desert lands of rajasthan. The city which once had been the capital of the royalty now is the capital city of rajasthan. The very structure of jaipur resembles the taste of the rajputs and the royal families. At present, jaipur is a major business center with all requisites of a metropolitan city.

Dear Dean Family,

My name is Katie Wornek and I am a researcher for a television show called American Ride.

We are interested in using the sepia photo of Korczak Ziolkowski found on your website. Do you know if the photo has an active copyright? If it does, do you know how I can obtain the rights to use the photo?

Thank you for your help. Rather than commenting back, please email me at katiewornek@me.com.

Best,
Katie
